Grenada prime minister to reshuffle Cabinet, address upcoming budget
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell will be making changes to his Cabinet with the announcement of new ministerial portfolios.
A statement from the Government Information Service on Tuesday said Mitchell will address the nation on Thursday in what has been described as the most significant change since 2013.
The Prime Minister will also address issues related to the upcoming budget.
“The changes will be consistent with the government’s aim and objectives for the coming period, including its emphasis on employment generation, youth empowerment and housing,” said the release which explains that the address comes as the government gets ready to enter its crucial third year in office.
The reshuffle will be the second since the New National Party cabinet was sworn into office following the February 2013 general election.
