Ministros de Finanzas del Caribe se reunirán con el presidente del Banco Mundial
World Bank-Caribbean Finance summit
President of the World Bank, Jim Young Kim, is to meet with Caribbean finance ministers and the governors of central banks at a summit early next year, to examine how the bank can assist with formalizing projects related to debt overhang, slow growth, climate change and high electricity rates.
Kim, who met with the regional finance ministers and officials last weekend, said there is an urgent need for the World Bank to meet with the Caribbean finance ministers to develop a strategy to assist Caribbean countries.
