CARICOM Overcoming Challenges: Pathway to Development – Two Heads to attend Forum

Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Brown will deliver the Feature Address as his country hosts a major regional Forum, under the theme “CARICOM Overcoming Challenges: Pathway to development, on Tuesday 23 June, 2015.

The Opening Ceremony will also be addressed by Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris.

The two Prime Ministers will also make a joint presentation during the business sessions on “The Caribbean Today and Beyond.”

Trinidad and Tobago’s Foreign Minister Mr. Winston Dookeran and Director of Strategic Management at the CARICOM Secretariat Mr. Craig Beresford will address one of the key themes of the Forum “CARICOM’s Strategic Development Plan and Measures to Achieve Economic Sustainability.

Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to CARICOM – one of the principal organisers, says the Forum is aimed at sensitizing the public about the CARICOM Strategic Plan and the Reform Process in the integration architecture including its governance arrangements.

The Forum runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be streamed LIVE here on CARICOM Today.
