Martinque; newest member of OECS grouping
The French island of Martinique will become an associate member of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), according to an official statement issued here.
The St. Lucia-based OECS Commission said that that Martinique will sign the necessary agreement on Wednesday, increasing the nine-member sub-regional grouping to 10.
